It is recommended that employees that are involved in the handling of consumer personal information, banking transactions and the like have a background search performed upon hire and at least yearly. Typical background searches performed are Social Security Number verifications, criminal checks (either statewide or nationwide), and Motor Vehicle Reports (if driving for your company).
